Assuming you have a Foundation to work with, (it might be your own or an associated organization’s), this Foundation can offer Tax-Deductible receipt to a Donor and the funds will be available to your Foundation to support your club's community Back to School Projects for kids in need.

• Staples is encouraging Kiwanis Clubs to have and publish a QR code that will give tax-deductible receipts for larger charitable donations when requested.

• An effective way to lever this opportunty is to Tune-up your CanadaHelps.org webpage (usually provide by CanadaHelps.org for every CRA number organization). This process enable us to generate a QR code that will directly the Donor to your CanadaHelps.org page. The QR code can then be used on the Club Specific Bookmark, literature & publicty, addition to Club name for larger, Tax-receipted donations.

  • • CanadaHelps.org provides a seamless methodology for donations, with an automatic tax-deductible receipt, direct deposit to your Foundation bank account and a tracking process. 

    • Monies donationed to your Foundation's "Back to School" Program would be available to the Club, through a request to the Club Foundations, to be spent as needed, all year around. 

• So for Example:

    • On the backside is a QR Code, that directs the user to the our Clubs Canadahelp.org Web page, complete with a dropdown showing a “Back to School Support for Students” option.

    • BTW, When you modify your CanadaHelps.org page, it offers you the QR Code image directly.

    • This allows you to copy and paste your Canadahelps.org "Back to School Fund" QR code anywhere you wish.
