How Find and Edit the Correct KIwanis Staples School Supply Drive Bookmarks

• There are Two (2) Editable Versions are in your Club Folders, by Division, in the Bookmark Development for Clubs Folder and you can review the FIXED Examples folder also. 

• The successful implementation of the Kiwanis Staples 2025 Bookmarks is dependent on a cooperative strategy between the Club and The Staples Store.

  • The Bookmarks are intended to help promote the 2025 Kiwanis Staples SSD Campaign. 

  • The QR Code version It opens the possibility and a methodology for "Tax Deductible" Donations for some Clubs (with CRA #'s) 

  • and a strategy of a broader "Back to School" Campaign in your Club's list of projects, the Staples School Supply Drive is the major, but not only funding component. 

• The Editable Bookmark is designed to be a 4 up document and to printed on standard 8.5*11 thicker Paper, on both sides. 

  • Select Your Version from your Club Folder, in the Club Bookmarks, (organizd by Division)

  • Select the Kiwanis Mission Statement BOOKMARK if you do not have QR Code, and or have not quite got it organized yet.

    • 1. Select the QR CODE BOOKMARK if you have QR Code, after having setup a Fund in your Account at CanadaHelps.org.

      2. In the editable field - Put your Club Name.

      3. In the QR Code Version, there is also a white square where you can paste the “Jpeg” Image of your CanadaHelps.org QR Code. 

      4. Copy the QR Code to your clipboard, and paste on the Bookmark version you are editing, position over the white space, and do the same for each of the 4 white spaces.  

      5. Once correctly Edited, Save and then Print to a PDF output (instead of a Printer). Put the word FIXED in the Title. 

      6. Once printed to a PDF, take the file to your Staples Store, they will print  will cut it into 4 Bookmarks (printed on both sides) 

    • It is intended to be handed out at the Store and at special "Back to School" Campaign events. (and for marking your place in  your favourite book, of course.)

• • • • • Quick review on how you generated a QR Code

          • In your CanadaHelps.org Account, a “Back to School” Campaign” FORM

          • At this point it will automatically generate the QR Code for you. 

          • You can then save the QR Code Jpeg to your desktop and then use it on the Bookmark. 

          • In Charitable Funds make up a "Back to School" Fund

          • Back in Donations Form, Select EDIT & add this Fund as only Fund in the Back to School Form, then Edit Branding, Enter a Title of the FORM/FUND combo & Drag in the Graphic for this from the Resource Folder.

• The Kiwanis Mission Statement version is the Non CRA Number version of the Bookmark, where the references  "Tax Deductible" donations are removed and a Kiwanis Mission message appears instead. 

  • 1. In the editable field - Put your Club Name. 

    2. In the Kiwanis Mission Statement version if you Edit one field it appears in all 8 “Club Name” fields automatically. 

    3. Once correctly Edited, Save and then Print to a PDF output (instead of a Printer). Put the word FIXED in the Name you printed it to. 

    4. Once printed, take the file to your Staples Store, they will print it cut it into 4 Bookmarks (printed on both sides)
