Gift Card Distribution to Clubs

How are the Gift Cards emailed to the Clubs & how do we use them with Staples.

How and to whom are the Gift Cards emails sent: 

• In the 2025 Campaign Donation Gift Cards will be emailed to the 2024/25 Club President, Club Secretary and Mike Young -  K-S SSD Campaign Coordinator

• Michael will keep an Email Folder of the 2025 Gift Card Donation Emails which will eliminate delays and allow resending where/when necessary.

How do Gifts Cards work and how we use them

• • A reminder, the Kiwanis-Staples SSD Gift Card value is embodied in a long NUMBER and a matching PIN (the Codes).

  • These Codes will be in the body of the Email along with Name of the Store and associated Kiwanis Club.

  • The Codes - the Gift Card Number and the Pin must be used together

  • They do not run out

  • They act like a Cash Card Account which means you can spend some of the Value today, and you will receive a receipt with a NET balance which you can then spend next week or next year. 

  • Gift Card Funds can NOT be used to make online purchases (Staples is working on this functionality for next year)
