Letter to Clubs - about Kiwanis Staple Gift Card Vouchers 

Hello Kiwanis Club President & Secretary and Division Coordinators,

This is a follow up Note to get feedback on how your Club is doing with the 2023 Kiwanis Staples Gift Card Voucher process. 

• We know this year is a change in process but it was dictated to us by Staples (with good intentions).

• Staples wanted to ensure that all the Clubs got the Gift Card Funds, regardless of what was happening at the Stores.

• They recognized that last year several clubs has some difficulty finding the E-Gift Cards in their emails for a variety of reasons. 

First off - Did you get them?

Have you found the Gift Cards (all of them). If so, please Click Here and confirm that you have received them. - Thank you

If you are still looking for the Gift Card Voucher(s).

Here are some suggestions. 

• In your email program, search for "E-Gift Card for" including the quotes.

• If your donation funds are over $2500 there will be more than one email and they may appear as if they are in the same email. Please scroll down to the 2nd and/or 3rd.

• They may have gone into your folder for Promotions, Junk or Spam.

• They were sent to the 2022-23 President, Secretary & President-Elects of your club.

  • If those Kiwanians are unavailable or unable to find them (We have helped a couple successfully search and find them)

  • We can provide that PINS to activate the Gift Card numbers if necessary.

Second - Problems?

If there are still problems, let us help. Email us to provide details of the Issue..

For example, some stores may have funds that come in after the date that the Campaign closed.

• If it is a small amount, the Store Manage may be able to help the process.

• If it is a larger amount, we may be able to have Staples Marketing Issue a new Gift Card Number and PIN and  I can send an equivalent Gift Card Voucher PDF to you.

Third - How to Use

These Gift Card Vouchers require a different process from last year. This year you have to track the “Balance on the Gift Card Number” as you use it for various different Recipients.

1. The Process as we understand it is:

• Print off the Gift Card Voucher, (I was able to print the area in the Red Box to a PDF on one page)

2. For a particular Recipient or Purchase

• Take the Voucher to the Store and purchase product at as needed

• The Order can be done On-Line also

• IMPORTANT: Look for the BALANCE available at the bottom of the Receipt. THIS IS YOUR NEW FUNDS AMOUNT For your subsequent purchase.

3. To help the process 

• We have provided a Template in PDF & Excel format that you could use to track your Gift Card Numbers and balances as you use the Gift Card for different Recipients. See attached and here is a online folder with Word & Excel versions
